Summer School fortnight for 2024. Week 1 - July 29th - Aug 2nd. Week 2 - Aug 5th - 9th Mornings 09.00-12.00. Afternoons 13.00-16.00 Sessions this summer are being led again by myself (John Spencer), assisted by our overseas professional Devlin Webb and out 1st X1 Vice Captain Stuart MacDougall. I am opening Summer School applications to children from the ages of 7-17 yrs of age. This summer we will have improved facilities in our brand new “double bay Astroturf net”, allowing me to accept more applications and to encourage more at the older end of the age range. So if your son /daughter has now left the U15 age group (I.e. if they are are now in school Yr 11/12) they are more than welcome. The morning sessions will be for 7-11 yr olds and will be for hard and soft ball cricketers, (although some in years 5/6 may be accepted in the afternoons depending on their experience at U11 last summer) The afternoon sessions will be for all in secondary school education (11-17 yrs). If you have friends who’s children have not been registered in the past, please pass this message onto them. The flyer and online application form will be sent out to you all before the Easter holidays begin. All will be accepted on a first come first base basis
